On March 31st, a DRR consultant from General Nakar, Quezon Province, Philippines, visited Japan and engaged in discussions with JBP member companies.

General Nakar faces risks such as earthquakes, tsunamis, flash floods, and landslides. Given its importance in supplying water to Manila, the introduction of measures to mitigate these risks, including earthquake, tsunami, flash flood, and landslide countermeasures, is being considered. During the visit, there was an exchange of information and opinions on Japan's disaster risk reduction initiatives and technologies that could be implemented in General Nakar.
