TOKEN C.E.E.Consultants Co., Ltd., is a consulting engineering firm, having a proven track record of professional services in various areas of public works since its inception in 1960. Furthermore, we have led the construction consulting industry as an advanced engineering group. As we enter the 21st century, global warming, population issues and scarcity of natural resources have become serious world-wide problems. In order to live peacefully and safely, we must deal with these problems. We have consulted on public works projects from this global viewpoint.
As various environmental issues are becoming obvious in Japan, a pressing question is how to create a strong foundation for our country against natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunami, and rain storms. Our company, in order to tackle those environmental problems or disaster prevention, has been strengthening the organization consisting of local environmental conservation, disaster prevention and information technology center. For example, the section dealing with natural disaster prevention has focused especially on developments of technologies, both in hardware and software, to prevent, mitigate, and recover from natural disasters such as flooding and tsunami. One of the results of our efforts is “The Simulator for Resident Evacuation in Case of Water Disaster”, which is expected to be an effective tool to assist authorities with resident evacuation in the event of a water disaster.
