On December 20, 2025, Japan Bosai Platform (JBP) concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan concerning cooperation in the field of disaster risk reduction.

The official title of the MOU is “Arrangement on Cooperation between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Japan Bosai Platform in the field of Disaster Risk Reduction.”

The MOU was concluded in conjunction with the Central Asia plus Japan Business Forum, held in Tokyo on December 20, 2025.
