Synspective's mission is to "To create a new infrastructure that enables the next generation to understand our Earth and achieve a resilient future." We develop and operate our own small SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) satellites, sell SAR data, and provide solutions using satellite data.
SAR satellites emit radio waves with wavelengths that penetrate clouds, observe the reflected waves from the ground, and obtain data that contains information that contributes to understanding the shape and physical properties of terrain and structures, regardless of weather or time of day. SAR data is strong in time-series analysis and change extraction, and is suitable for capturing continuous changes in the economy and environment. When natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, and landslides occur, observations by SAR satellites and insights from data analysis help to quickly grasp the damage situation.
We consistently carry out everything from satellite development to providing solutions using satellite data, developing and implementing services that capture stable data acquisition and market needs. In the future, we aim to build a constellation of 30 small SAR satellites by the late 2020s and create a new infrastructure that can observe changes anywhere on the Earth.
