On October 11, the Public-Private Seminar on Innovative Policies and Technologies for Disaster Risk Reduction was held in Ha long, Vietnam to commemorate the 50th anniversary of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation.
 The seminar brought together 12 countries from ASEAN member countries, countries considering membership, and Japan, and  seven panelists, including Mr. Nishiguchi and JBP member Nippon Steel Metal Products Co.,Ltd. (President Ishikawa of Nippon Steel Metal Products Vietnam Co.,Ltd.), participated in a panel discussion that included presentations, discussions, and a question-and-answer session.
 A reception hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) followed, where JBP and its members IHI Corporation, JFE Metal Products Corporation, and Nippon Steel Metal Products Co.,Ltd. made presentations on JBP-related issues in flash presentations.
 JBP will continue to deepen its relationship and collaboration with ASEAN and its related organizations.
