UACJ Corporation is an integrated aluminum manufacturer doing business globally and with its origins in Japan. We define our Group purpose to “Contribute to society by using raw materials to manufacture products that enhance prosperity and sustainability.”
The Company was formed in 2013 through the business integration of Furukawa-Sky Aluminum Corporation and Sumitomo Light Metal Industries, Ltd. The Group has six businesses: flat rolled products, automotive components, extrusion, foil, casting and forging, and precision-machined components. We provide aluminum materials to a wide range of industrial fields, including the beverage can, automotive, IT equipment, air conditioning, and aerospace industries.
In the aluminum flat rolled products business, we have built a three-pronged global structure with bases in North America, Thailand and Japan. In the automotive components business, we are developing our business in North America, China and Japan by utilizing our integrated production system spanning alloy development to design.
